About Us

Founded by Grand Canyon University students, Rodrigo Ramirez, Erika Magana, and the foundational help of their advisor, Katalina Inzunza Herrera in the Summer of 2021, the creation of the Canyon Dreamers was made with the intention of integrating Dreamers of all statuses, first generation students, advocates, allies, and any other student that wishes to support and help with the cause. In the Canyon Dreamers we believe in the success of our students firmly and we encourage them to become leaders by providing a landscape to which they can create, thrive, and manage their own academic experiences. Students can join us for meetings and events where we come together as one community to have fun, learn, network, and interact as one big family. We believe that each one of our students can be the best they can be as this is More Than a Dream.
